Star back but Castleford Tigers suffer double blow as 21-man squad named v Bradford Bulls
Castleford Tigers welcome back a star player to their 21-man squad for Thursday’s game at Bradford Bulls.
Centre Krystian Mapapalangi has missed the past two matches because of a shoulder injury, but is in contention for the penultimate fixture of Tigers’ Betfred Super League campaign. Youngsters Alfie Lindsay - who was on loan at Widnes Vikings last week - and Tylor Sharp have also been drafted back into the initial group.
But Castleford will be without on-loan back Keanan Brand after he was recalled by parent club Leigh Leopards and young centre/winger Daniel Sarbah, who made his debut against Catalans Dragons last Friday, is suspended. Cain Robb also drops out from last week’s team.

Bulls have named only 20 in their preliminary squad. Loghan Lewis returns from suspension alongside concussion victims Phoenix Steinwede and Dan Russell. Rookies Harvey Duckworth and Riley Gelder make way.
