Rhinos are backing up from a 28-24 win over Castleford Tigers on Monday and Agar said: “We did some video [yesterday] and we’ve done some recovery and some movement stuff.

“We’ve just been getting them moving, playing a bit of walking touch, a bit of marker play and we rolled three sets out at the end, but no high speed running, no collision, no real game plan stuff.”

But he stressed: “That’s the situation we are in.

“We are hoping with what we’ve done in pre-season and up to now, everyone knows their jobs well enough to go out and execute a performance.”

There was more disruption yesterday when four players were stood down following a coronavirus outbreak at Tigers.

That has reduced Agar’s options for today and following games, but he said: “I am confident [today] won’t be an issue in terms of the freshness of our squad.

“With the mindset and calibre of the player we’ve got out there I am sure we’re going to be competitive, but it is going to test us.

“Whatever happens, we will roll our sleeves up and give it a good go.”

Meanwhile, Rhinos’ Papua New Guinean prop Wellington Albert will join Betfred League One side Keighley Cougars next season.

Albert played six times for Rhinos last year after joining them from Widnes Vikings and joined Featherstone Rovers on loan from the 2020 season.
