Relief as Leeds Rhinos prop avoids Wembley Challenge Cup final ban

Leeds Rhinos' teenage prop Tom Holroyd will NOT be suspended for this weekend's Coral Challenge Cup final.

The RFL's match review panel issued Holroyd an official caution for dangerous contact on Hull's Jack Brown in last Thursday's win over Hull.

But he avoided a ban and will be eligible for the Wembley showpiece against Salford Red Devils on Saturday.

Holroyd has been named in Leeds' initial 21-man squad for Tuesday's Betfred Super League fixture at Warrington Wolves.

Salford's Dan Sarginson was charged with grade A dangerous contact in last Thursday's win over Huddersfield Giants, after being sin-binned for a tackle on Ashton Golding, but also escaped a ban.
