Revived Exiles or home nations series on radar of England coach Shaun Wane.

The resumption of top-level sport has begun this week, with horse racing and snooker staged behind closed doors while the Premier League and SkyBet Championship have pencilled in their returns.

Rugby league returned in Australia last weekend while Super League clubs are hopeful of a return in mid-August.

However, Greenwood believes the task of returning will be made more difficult for part-time clubs as they might not be able to afford the testing required to train and play.

“You are still going to have to adhere by the rules and it would need to be small groups, so you couldn’t fully train,” said Greenwood.

“There are a lot of hoops to jump through to go back into training, as the Premier League are finding out.

“They have got a hell of a lot of money and are testing every couple of days, so there is a lot of unknowns.

“The relaxing of the rules last week certainly got peoples’ hopes up but at part-time rugby level it is difficult.”

Reports last week suggested that some sports could return to training without taking their players off the Government furlough scheme but Greenwood says that he has not received confirmation if Dewsbury can return to some form of training.
