New Leeds Rhinos signing Zane Tetevano has arrived - could feature in opposed training session against York City Knights next month

Leeds Rhinos’ star recruit Zane Tetevano touched down in England today (Tuesday).

The New Zealand Test prop was signed at Christmas and has since been training in Australia with his former club Penrith Panthers.

As an arrival from overseas, he is required to isolate for five days and will then be tested for coronavirus before being allowed to his new teammates if he returns a negative result.

Fellow signing King Vuniyayawa went through the same process earlier this month and is now taking part in pre-season training.

Tetevano could get a run out when Rhinos face Betfred Championship side York City Knights in an opposed training session on March 4.

Rhinos are expected to take on Huddersfield Giants in a warm-up game the following week and begin their Betfred Super League campaign against Wakefield Trinity at Emerald Headingley on Saturday, March 27.
