More Super League fixtures confirmed - Leeds Rhinos, Castleford Tigers and Wakefield Trinity learn 'rivals round' opponents

Leeds Rhinos will play host to Huddersfield Giants in this year's Betfred Super League 'rivals round'.

Fixtures for round 20, from August 20-22, have been confirmed today (Thursday) ahead of the full list being published tomorrow.

As well as Rhinos' clash with Giants, Castleford Tigers will have home advantage against neighbours Wakefield Trinity and other fixtures in the round are Hull FC v Hull KR, Leigh Centurions v Salford Red Devils, Warrington Wolves v Catalans Dragons and Wigan Warriors v St Helens.

Specific dates and kick-off times have yet to be announced.

Rhinos hit back to beat Giants by a single point - through a Luke Gale drop goal - in both last season's encounters.

Tigers faced Trinity just once, winning 32-15 at the Jungle.

Because of current Covid restrictions, traditional Easter match-ups have been moved later in the season when it is hoped fans will be allowed into stadiums.
