Meet Burrow Seven - the racehorse named after Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow
and live on Freeview channel 276
Burrow Seven, a three-year-old grey gelding, will begin his racing career in the new year and all prize money will go to the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association.
Burrow, an eight-time Grand Final winner, was diagnosed with the terminal illness 11 months ago.

Hide AdThe Burrow Seven Racing Club was launched today with membership proceeds also being donated to the MND Association.
A year’s membership costs £59 and members will have an opportunity to enter a prize draw to win tickets to watch Burrow Seven on race days from the owners’ enclosure or visit him at his training yard, as well as receiving a thank you letter from Burrow, picture of the horse and updates on his progress.
Burrow Seven was initially pre-trained by Henrietta Knight at West Lockinge Farm in Oxfordshire and is now continuing his training with Jedd O’Keeffe in North Yorkshire.

“I’m really honoured to have him named after me and I can’t wait to see him in his first race.

Burrow’s former teammate Barrie McDermott helped coordinate the new club.

“I’ve met this horse and can testify it has the same fighting spirit as Rob.
