Leeds Rhinos v Castleford Tigers - six players set for milestone match

Castleford captain Michael Shenton heads a list of potential milestone men in the Good Friday derby against Leeds Rhinos.

Shenton is one appearance away from 400 for his career and also needs eight points for a half-century in Betfred Super League.

Team-mate Liam Watts is set to play the 300th game of his career and it will be another Tigers man Peter Matautia’s 150th.

Former Rhinos hooker Paul McShane is one appearance away from 150 for Tigers.

Rhinos’ Richie Myler, who reached 500 points in Super League last week, needs one more appearance for 250 in the competition and team-mate Brad Dwyer is currently on 199 career games.

Rhinos coach Richard Agar has again decided Kyle Eastmond is not ready for his debut.

The former St Helens and England star joined Leeds last month after a decade in rugby union, but has not played for more than a year.

His place in an otherwise unchanged initial 21-man squad is taken by 18-year-old centre Corey Hall, who made three first-team appearances last season.

King Vuniyayawa, Sam Walters and Jarrod O’Connor retain their squad place after not playing against Wakefield last week.

Jack Walker (foot), Harry Newman (broken leg), Konrad Hurrell (calf), Ash Handley (knee), Rob Lui (quad), Tom Holroyd (leg) and Callum McLelland (groin) all remain on the casualty list.

Tigers are without Gareth O’Brien who suffered concussion in their round one win over Warrington Wolves five days ago.

Jacques O’Neill also drops out and their places in the 21 are taken by Lewis Bienek - an off-season signing from Hull who could make his debut - and Lewis Peachey.

Also included after not featuring last week are Danny Richardson, Tyler Hepi, Jesse Sene-Lefao and Greg Eden.
