With one round remaining in the regular Betfred Super League season, Rhinos are locked into ninth place and facing a second campaign in the middle-eights Qualifiers in three years. In 2016 Rhinos also finished ninth in Super League and went on to preserve their top-flight status by winning six of their seven additional fixtures and finishing top of the Qualifiers table.

The Qualifiers will feature Super League’s bottom four and the leading quartet from the Betfred Championship.

After the seven rounds, the top three clubs on the table will secure a place in Super League for 2019 with the team finishing fourth playing host to the fifth-placed side in the million pound match, a winner-takes-all shootout for the final spot.

The bottom four places in Super League are already confirmed.

Hull KR, promoted last year, will be 10th, with Salford Red Devils 11th and Widnes Vikings 12th.

Rhinos and Hull KR will both have four home games and three away, as will Championship leaders Toronto Wolfpack and the side finishing second.

Going into the last Championship round, five teams are still in contention for the final three places in the Qualifiers.

Toulouse Olympique, London Broncos and Halifax are all on 31 points, with Featherstone Rovers and Leigh – in fifth and sixth – one point behind.

Toulouse are at home to ninth-placed Dewsbury Rams on Saturday, when Toronto play host to Featherstone.

Sunday’s games see London visit third-bottom Barrow Raiders, Halifax play host to bottom club Rochdale Hornets and Leigh take on visitors Sheffield Eagles, who are eighth.
