Entering the second half of the Betfred Super League season, Rhinos coach Brad Arthur would probably expect to have a number of first-choice players on the casualty list. But with hooker Andy Ackers back in contention for the first time since March, only one of his top-20 squad numbers is missing through injury - and that’s winger Maika Sivo who has been ruled out for the entire campaign.
Arthur has been rotating his forwards and that policy is likely to continue, but the way Rhinos line up in the backs and on the bench could depend on whether full-back Lachie Miller is fit enough to play after suffering a calf muscle injury against Wakefield Trinity in Rhinos’ previous game two weeks ago. Here’s a prediction of Rhinos’ starting 13 and substitutes.

13. Second-row: Morgan Gannon
Didn't play the the previous game, so presumably will be back in. Photo: Olly Hassell/SWpix.com

14. Loose-forward: Kallum Watkins
Could be a candidate for this week's squad rotation, but is in such good form it would be difficult to leave him out. Photo: Steve Riding

15. Sub: Sam Lisone
Any of the forwards could be rested, but Lisone tends to play less game time than other props and has been making a big impact so will probably continue. Photo: Alex Whitehead/SWpix.com

16. Sub: Cooper Jenkins
Was rested a few weeks ago, so has had his turn. Photo: David Harrison

17. Sub: Cameron Smith
Could swap with Watkins, but has been having a posivie influence off the bench. Photo: Steve Riding

18. Sub: Andy Ackers
Now fit after a three-month injury layoff so will probably be in the 17 and via the bench seems his most likely route back on to the field. Photo: Olly Hassell/SWpix.com
