After being hit by front-row problems in the opening three three games, Rhinos could have numbers eight and 10 on duty together for the first time this season with Mikolaj Oledzki set to return from a two-match layoff because of a shoulder injury. Derrell Olpherts’ return to the initial 21 means fellow winger David Fusitu’a is the only back on Rhinos’ casualty roster. There are still issues among the forwards, with James Bentley joining Sam Lisone and James Donaldson on the banned list and Morgan Gannon unavailable because of concussion, but Smith looks set to field a strong side. Here’s how Rhinos could line up.

7. Stand-off: Brodie Croft
Three games in, he has already become a very influential part of Leeds' team. Photo: Steve Riding

8. Scrum-half: Matt Frawley
Will get more chance to build his developing combination with Brodie Croft. Photo: Steve Riding

9. Prop: Justin Sangare
Cleared to play after avoiding a suspension for his yellow card last week; has started the last two and gone well. Photo: Allan McKenzie/SWpix.com

10. Hooker: Andy Ackers
Needs one appearance to reach 250 for his career. Friday will be his fourth game with Leeds and he has also played for Salford Red Devils (74 appearances), Toronto Wolfpack (66), Swinton Lions (56), London Broncos (48) and England (two). Photo: Allan McKenzie/SWpix.com

11. Prop: Mickael Goudemand
Form and players back after injury mean Smith finally has some options in the front-row, but Goudemand has gone well as a starting prop in the past two games and could continue. Photo: Steve Riding

12. Second-row: James McDonnell
Mickael Goudemand could move back to start in the second-row, but McDonnell - a former Leigh player - made a successful return from injury last week and was very effective in the role last year. Photo: Steve Riding
