None of the scorers in Rhinos’ 33-22 defeat by Warrington Wolves at Headingley two years ago is still at the club.

Ashton Golding, Ryan Hall, Joel Moon and Carl Ablett scored Leeds’ tries, with Kallum Watkins kicking three goals.

An 18-8 home win over Hull KR secured Leeds’ place in the first Premiership final.

Keith Hepworth was the star for Leeds whose try scorers were Les Dyl, Alan Smith, Mel Mason and Ray Batten. John Holmes kicked three goals.

Leeds lost 17-9 at Hull, three days after beating the same opposition 21-16 in a home fixture.

Fred Pickup was Leeds’ try scorer at the Boulevard and Lewis Jones kicked three goals.

The Loiners’ Championship hopes ended in a 22-12 semi-final defeat at Oldham.

Jeff Stevenson and Keith McLelland scored tries for Leeds – who were preparing for a Cup final appearance a week later – and Lewis Jones added three goals.
