2017

Rhinos were thumped 31-12 by Huddersfield Giants at Headingley.

Joel Moon and Matt Parcell were the hosts’ try scorers, with Kallum Watkins adding two goals.

2007

Brent Webb scored a hat-trick and Kevin Sinfield claimed 26 points from two tries and nine goals in a 54-8 home win over Catalans Dragons.

The Rhinos lost Jamie Peacock to an ankle injury early on and conceded the first try, but stormed back with other touchdowns by Clinton Toopi, Gareth Ellis, Scott Donald and Rob Burrow.

Three tries from Les Dyl helped Leeds to a 27-8 win at Featherstone Rovers in the first round of the Premiership Trophy.

Bob Haigh crossed twice, Alan Smith and Syd Hynes also touched down and John Holmes added three goals.

1962

Leeds’ eighth and final game of the month was a 32-8 home loss to Wigan.

Brian Shaw and Ron Cowan were the Loiners’ try scorers and Lewis Jones kicked a goal.
