2018

Kallum Watkins converted Ash Handley’s late try to snatch a 22-22 draw at Huddersfield Giants, who had sacked coach Rick Stone earlier in the week.

Rhinos scored four tries to Giants’ three, with Handley bagging a brace, Watkins and Ryan Hall also crossing and Watkins kicking three goals.

2012

Leeds slipped up 22-12 at home to Huddersfield Giants. Kylie Leuluai and Zak Hardaker scored Rhinos’ tries, both improved by Kevin Sinfield.

2007

Scott Donald scored four tries as Rhinos eased into the fifth round of the Challenge Cup with a 72-10 win over Workington Town in front of 3,576 spectators at Headingley.

Rob Burrow ran in a hat-trick and kicked two goals, Kevin Sinfield registered a try and eight goals and Jordan Tansey (2), Ali Lauitiiti, Carl Ablett and Matt Diskin also crossed.

1979

Kevin Dick scored 19 points – from a try and eight goals – in a 34-10 win at Castleford.

Other Leeds try scorers were John Atkinson, with his 301st for the club , John Holmes, David Ward, Graham Eccles and ‘Sammy’ Sanderson.
