Hunslet Warriors off the mark - National Conference round-up
Warriors led only 12-10 just after the break, through tries by Ben Smith, Tom Boardman and Jordan Gale.
But they stepped up a gear and Liam Brown, Josh McLelland and Luke Naughton all crossed, with Jordan Gale adding two conversions and a penalty, to complete Warriors’ first win since being promoted last year.

Casey Johnson kicked the decisive drop goal with 10 minutes left, soon after converting Jake Wilson’s try to level the scores.

Tries by Mark Judge and Zak Snellgrove, both converted by Jack Payne, then nosed Milford ahead.

They staged a strong fightback, from 18-4 down, against West Bowling, but were beaten 24-20.
Will Milner, Brad Hoyle, Ross Barton and Andy Williamson scored Raiders’ tries and Josh Murray added two goals.
But Stanningley are off the mark. The sin-binning of Ash Yarrow, for a late tackle, could not prevent them from recording a 28-14 victory over Hull Dockers.
