Hull KR v Leeds Rhinos - Centre Harry Newman hospitalised by serious injury

Leeds Rhinos’ 20-year-old centre Harry Newman was being treated in hospital this afternoon after suffering a horror injury in the game against Hull KR at Warrington.

Newman suffered a suspected fractured tibia and fibula nine minutes before half-time.

He was treated on the field before being off on a stretcher and transported to a local hospital.

If confirmed, the double-break will rule Newman out of action until midway through next season.
