Rhinos improved two places from fourth in 2025 to second on the Super League table and were top of the pile for much of the campaign before dropping away in the final four weeks. Though a controversial semi-final defeat by Warrington Wolves cost them a place at Old Trafford, Leeds had six players selected in the Dream Team and Jake Connor was a Man of Steel nominee.
Over the course of the year Rhinos used 30 players in all competitions with two of them, forwards Kallum Watkins and Cooper Jenkins, being ever-present. Taking into account the number of matches played, here’s how everyone who made a senior appearance for Leeds this year rated out of 10.

2. Lachie Miller (squad number one)
Man of Steel nominee, how influential he was became obvious when he wasn’t there at the end 8 Photo: Steve Riding

3. Maika Sivo (no 2)
Scored 31 tries in 21 games and would have smashed records but for a broken arm and then a dislocated shoulder late in the campaign; almost unstoppable close to the line 8 Photo: Steve Riding

4. Harry Newman (no 3)
Showed great character to force his way back into the team after a loan spell at Hull FC and deserved a better send off before his move to Perth Bears 7 Photo: Steve Riding

5. Ash Handley (no 4)
Had an outstanding year, spoiled only by some injury problems; led the side magnificently in his first season as lone-captain 8.5 Photo: Paul Currie/SWpix.com

6. Ryan Hall (no 5)
Was caught out for pace on defence at times, overshadowing some impressive work carrying the ball away from Rhinos’ line, but 11 tries was a decent final season 7 Photo: Steve Riding
