Rovers are still without a win in the Qualifiers after being crushed 68-0 by Super League visitors Warrington Wolves two days ago.

Their earlier draw at London Broncos has given them a one-point advantage over Halifax who they visit on Sunday.

Assessing the performance against Warrington, Duffy said: “It was not a good watch.

“If you are not bang on with your attitude it doesn’t matter who you are playing. I have got to give credit to Warrington; I thought they were outstanding, but we just weren’t there – not good enough.

“It boils down to personal approach to the game and being on the same hymn sheet and I don’t think we wanted to be out there. It was a tough one and we deserved everything we got.”

Rovers will receive an extra £50,000 in central funding if they beat Halifax and finish seventh.

Duffy said it’s also important they end the year on a positive note.

“We will be hell-bent on going to Halifax and getting two points because we can’t let all our efforts over the last few weeks go to ruin by not getting a win,” he stressed.

“It will be a massive test and we’ve got to go there with a good game plan and attitude.”
