Clubs have now been given the green light to restart in ‘stage one plus’, which permits socially distanced, non-contact, training outdoors.

Rovers say 'stage one' training protocols will be in place and the club will "continue to implement all Covid-19 return to train measures in line with the current government guidelines to ensure the squad are working in a safe environment.

Coach James Webster said: “We look forward to training commencing again on Tuesday night.

"We are lucky we own our facility and the protocols we were carrying out prior to this stoppage were of the strongest standard.

“Whilst players have been chomping at the bit to progress in their training, we have been fully supportive of both the government's and RFLs approach of keeping people safe.”
