Wicks became an online sensation during the first coronavirus lockdown, last year, with his Body Coach videos on You Tube.

Now, during the third lockdown, members of Rams’ first team squad are showing the sport’s fans how to keep in shape with their own internet workouts.

Players, Jon Magrin, Adam Ryder, Chris Annakin, Joe Martin and Bailey Liu have teamed up to put on 10 different fitness sessions.

Coach Lee Greenwood described the sessions as “another brilliant initiative from the club”.

He said: Following on from our hugely successful Rampage club, I’m sure these workout videos will be a big hit.

“There are plenty of home exercise videos about at the moment, but I don’t recall seeing any specific to rugby, performed by professional players.

“This is a great way for us to engage with not just our local community and supporters but anyone around the world.

“Any junior - or adult - can enjoy these sessions.”

Rams have not played since last March, but are set to return to the field next month in the first round of the Betfred Challenge Cup, with their Championship campaign kicking off in April.
