Castleford Tigers boss Daryl Powell’s options are boosted by the return of centre or full-back Peter Mata’utia after a two-game ban.

Key forward Jesse Sene-Lefao, who has not played since suffering a leg injury in a pre-season game against Toronto Wolfpack last month, has also been named in Tigers’ initial 21-man squad.

They are added to the 17 who lost at Catalans Dragons last week, along with Calum Turner and Lewis Peachey.

Ryan Atkins comes into contention for Wakefield after missing last week’s win over Warrington Wolves due to a knee problem.

George King (ankle) and Jordan Crowther (cheekbone) could make their first appearance of the season following injury and Danny Kiromnd is also included in the initial squad, but boss Chris Chester may be reluctant to change a winning side.
