"Rugby league continues to follow government advice and guidelines to take precautionary steps to limit the effect and spread of COVID-19, but the game against the Saints will go ahead as scheduled, kick-off 3.30pm."

Supporters are asked to take note of the following:

Fans are asked not to engage with players or staff for handshakes, hugs, high-fives, selfies, photographs, autographs etc until further notice.

Players are advised not to hold hands with match day mascots when entering the field.

Players will complete their usual lap of The Jungle after full-time, but will remain within the parameters of the field and not directly engage with supporters in the stands.

The spokesman added: "The above measures have not been taken likely and the club asks for patience during this unprecedented event.

"The situation continues to be monitored by all clubs and sporting governing bodies and we will issue further updates in the future should our position change.

"In line with the national advice provided by the NHS and Public Health England, any person showing symptoms of COVID-19, or having recently returned from an infected region (e.g. China, Italy, South Korea, Iran) is asked to avoid attending fixtures.

"The club actively encourages washing hands more often than usual with warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds. All toilet facilities within the Mend-A-Hose Jungle have been stocked ahead of match day."

Tickets for the game are available online at www.castlefordtigers.com/tickets, with the club suggesting fans make use of the e-ticket option for this game.

Cash turnstiles will be available as normal, but fans are encouraged to avoid any unnecessary handling of money where possible by either buying in advance or buy paying via card on the turnstiles on matchday.

The cash turnstiles at the training pitch side of the ground (behind the main stand) allow supporters to pay via card at the turnstiles to enter the ground.

All bars within the Mend-A-Hose Jungle also accept card payments.

The Tigers are also asking all supporters to arrive a little earlier than usual in case of minor delays in entering the stadium via cash or e-ticket turnstiles.
