Castleford Tigers will be without centre Peter Mata'utia for their next two matches after he was handed a ban by the Rugby Football League's match review panel.

Mata'utia was issued with a two-game penalty notice for a grade C dangerous lift during the Tigers' 40-14 defeat to Catalans Dragons last Saturday.

Mata'utia also received an official caution for a shoulder charge in the same game.

He will miss Sunday's Betfred Super League clash with Hull at St Helens and the Coral Challenge Cup tie against the same opposition six days later, at Huddersfield.

Warrington Wolves' Anthony Gelling committed a similar offence in his side's win over Hull KR and was also suspended for two matches.

Wigan prop George Burgess was hit with a one-match suspension for grade A dangerous contact in the Warriors' victory over Wakefield Trinity.

That means he will miss Saturday's game against Leeds Rhinos at St Helens.

Hull's former Castleford forward Andre Savelio was given a caution for a raised knee as his side were hammered by Salford.
