Aussie target Matt Prior would be a "good buy" for Leeds Rhinos - says Castleford Tigers signing Sosaia Feki

Leeds Rhinos will be on to a winner if they complete the signing of State of Origin forward Matt Prior, according to his former teammate Sosaia Feki.

Feki played alongside Prior at NRL club Cronulla Sharks before joining Tigers at the end of last season on a three-year deal.

Leeds believe Prior, who played for New South Wales in 2018 and has more than 250 NRL appearances to his name, would bring power and experience to their pack.

And having already made the move to Betfred Super League, Feki predicts Prior will be a hit if he joins him in England.

“He is one of the hardest workers I have ever played around," Tigers' new winger said.

“He is always in the gym last, packing up all the weights, he always does his one percenters, he is a great teammate and I am glad I played with him.

“If they get him, that’s a good buy.”
