The weekly tournament has been on hold since mid-March due to the coronavirus crisis.

Leeds’ First Direct Arena was due to welcome the sport’s nine best players, including world champion Peter Wright, on Thursday, May 14.

That has now been rearranged for Thursday, August 27.

On the original fixture list the Premier League would have visited Sheffield’s FlyDSA Arena yesterday.

That was put back to July 2 last month and has been rescheduled for a second time with Sheffield now staging the competition final on Thursday, October 15.

The new dates are all dependent on there being no further delays because of Covid-19

All darts’ professional tournaments have been suspended, but the Premier League season is due to resume with night seven in Birmingham on Thursday, July 30.

Other players in this year’s Premier League are Michael Smith, Nathan Aspinall, Wright, Gary Anderson, Gerwyn Price, Rob Cross and Daryl Gurney.
