Leeds Knights meet and greet sponsors and local school pupils
LEEDS KNIGHTS’ players took time out from their NIHL National Cup final preparations to skate with schoolchildren and meet with sponsors earlier this week.
Children from Middleton Primary School turned up at Planet Ice Leeds on Tuesday morning to skate alongside the players and head coach Ryan Aldridge.
The players then did their regular Tuesday morning practice session watched on by the pupils as well as club sponsors and other local businesses, who had been invited down to the rink for a meet and greet.
After practice, the Knights players then spent time meeting with the sponsors and the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor Dan Cohen.
“The event was a great success and there was a real buzz in the room in the lead up to the game on Thursday,” said Knights’ Partnership Manager, Verity Thomas.
