It will be the last meeting of the NIHL National regular season between the two Yorkshire rivals, with Sheffield winning five of the previous seven encounters, including the most recent clash which saw the teams play the first-ever game at Elland Road on January 31, the visitors prevailing 4-1.

After tomorrow, there are seven more home games scheduled for the Chiefs, including a home double-header next weekend which sees Bracknell Bees visit on Saturday, February 29 (7pm) before Sam Zajac’s host Basingstoke the following day (5.30pm).

“We’re delighted that we now have a further 470 seats available and fans can now enjoy a view of the game from both sides of the rink,” said Planet Ice chief operations officer, Heath Rhodes.

“Already we are seeing some fantastic hockey from Leeds Chiefs which is delighting the crowds.”
