Josh Whiteley weighed in with a hat-trick as Supreme Division table-toppers Stanley United saw off visitors Route One Rovers, 4-2.

Ben Laycock also found the back of the net for the hosts, who top the league table on goals difference from Leeds Medics & Dentists, each with 12 points from five outings.

Medics, meanwhile, romped to a 4-1 win at Toller. Elsewhere in the top-flight, Steeton were out-gunned 4-1 by visitors Littletown, while Alwoodley edged out Athletico 3-2 after going a goal down in the first half.

Farsley Celtic Juniors maintained the pressure on the division’s top two with a 3-0 home victory over Ryburn United.

Craig Farrand, Joshua Maskill and Louis Surtees scored the goals for Celtic, who are currently third on the ladder with 10 points from their five outings to date.

In the Premier Division, substitutes James Halliday (2) and Tommy Hartley (2) turned the tables on hosts Mount St Mary’s, helping to convert a 2-0 half-time deficit into a stirring 4-3 triumph.

Patrick Gibbons, Christopher Paceivitch and Taylor Starkey netted for Mount.

Gildersome Old Boys saw off visitors White Rose, 5-2, Golcar United edged out game cellar dwellers Nostell MW, 4-3, and Shire Academicals out-gunned visitors Stanningley Old Boys, 7-2.

In the division’s only other game, Wibsey ran out 4-2 victors over Ealandians.
