England fans were overjoyed as the national side kicked off their World Cup campaign with a 6-2 victory over Iran.

These were the scenes on Monday lunchtime at Leeds city centre’s Beckett’s Bank pub, one of hundreds of Wetherspoons pubs that are screening World Cup matches for the first time this year.
