Hide AdReports have suggested Crook had been approached by new Leeds United boss Garry Monk and Premier League side Swansea City but those claims have been dismissed by Town.
Town boss Simon Weaver confirmed several enquiries had been made for the player prior to Tuesday’s 3-0 pre-season friendly win over Knaresborough Town and has been looking at former Huddersfield Town stopper Lloyd Allinson, 22, as a potential replacement.
Crook joined Town at the start of the 2013/14 campaign but spent the season on dual registration at neighbours Harrogate Railway.
