Non-League: Foot-sore Harrogate midfielder Cadman sidelined for second time this season

Harrogate Town's James Cadman has suffered an injury blow ahead of tonight's visit to Stalybridge Celtic.

The box-to-box midfielder reopened the fracture site of his fifth metatarsal in the game against Hednesford on Saturday. Cadman injured the metatarsal earlier in the campaign and the latest set-back is expected to keep him out for between four and six weeks.

The 19-year-old has been impressive in the last two games and played a key role as Harrogate put together a 3-2 win in the Hednesford tie. In Cadman’s absence, Harrogate know that a victory would take them back into the National League North play-off places.

Nuneaton Town, who currently occupy fifth spot in the division, are on cup duty, hosting Burton Albion.

Meanwhile in the Northern Counties East Football League Premier Division, 12th-placed Garforth Town host Parkgate.

Nostell Miners Welfare are on the road as they visit Pickering Town, while Pontefract Collieries have to make the relatively short trip to Thackley.

Division One sees Hemsworth Miners Welfare host Winterton Rangers.

Hemsworth remain on level points with AFC Mansfield at the top of the table.

Glasshougton Welfare, meanwhile, are scheduled to play a friendly encounter against Barton Town Old Boys, weather/pitch permitting.
