Marcelo Bielsa's outfit enter the clash looking to get back to winning ways following a disappointing 4-2 defeat at Arsenal.

Wolves, meanwhile, defeated Southampton 2-1 last time out and will be hoping to back up a strong win at St Mary's with victory on home soil.

Both sides will be missing key players with Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips absent while hosts striker Raul Jimenez continues he rehab from a fractured skull.

Here, we look ahead to what should be a hotly contested encounter between the Wolves and the Whites...

Key battle - Conor Coady v Patrick Bamford

A battle between an England centre-back and a potential Three Lions striker.

The former got the better of the latter when the two sides met earlier in the season – a game which was decided by just a single goal – and it feels as if it could be another tight affair tonight.

Bamford has stunned the Premier League by bagging 12 goals and five assists in his debut top-flight campaign with the Whites.

Coady has been a rock at the back for Wolves since joining in 2015 – becoming club captain and helping the club to a period of great success from earning promotion from the Championship to reaching the Europa League knockout stages.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men, though, have managed to keep only six clean sheets in 24 league games this season.

One of those came at Elland Road in October but, if Bamford can find his shooting boots and put pressure on the hosts backline, then joy can certainly be had.

Wolves key man - Pedro Neto

Wolves have been left without goals since the shocking injury to leading frontman Raul Jimenez last November.

The Mexican suffered a fractured skull at Arsenal and, as he continues his recovery, his team-mates have been left to try and fill the void of a killer instinct inside the opposition box.

He scored 17 goals in last season’s Premier League and had found the back of the net four times in 10 outings before he was sidelined.

One man to step up in his absence has been busy wide man Pedro Neto.

Five goals and four assists in 22 games have helped ease the burden and Leeds will have to be wary of his ability to pop up in spaces as he cuts in from the flank.

The 20-year-old Portuguese winger is also a deadly threat on the counter-attack and has proved to be their kryptonite on several occasions under Marcelo Bielsa.

Molineux prediction

A slow start against Arsenal at the Emirates last time out is what cost Leeds and they can’t afford to make the same mistakes.

Wolves by their recent standards are having an up and down campaign but showed how to win in a dogfight in this very fixture earlier in the season.

Leeds will be looking to take advantage of their disappointing defensive record and Patrick Bamford more than likely holds the key in that department.

By his own admission the high pressing of the Whites against the Gunners wasn’t up to scratch and, if one part of Marcelo Bielsa’s system fails, then it generally all comes tumbling down.

It would be nice for Leeds to go to Molineux and get a result to abolish any memories of their last visit to Wolverhampton, which came in the form of a crushing 4-1 defeat. Both sides struggle to keep the ball out of their own net, but a 2-1 away win would be most welcome.
