Nuno Espirito Santo's side meanwhile were buoyed by a 2-1 win over Southampton which sees them sit one place and two points behind Leeds in the standings.

Marcelo Bielsa's men are enjoying a strong campaign as a newly-promoted team, sitting 11th with 15 games of the campaign to go.

Wolves won the reverse fixture between the two teams earlier in the season and will be looking to make it a league double in the Midlands.

Wanderers, though, will be without defender Willy Boly (hamstring) and winger Daniel Podence (groin) while influential striker Raul Jimenez (fractured skull) continues his recovery.

The Mexican forward suffered the shocking injury against Arsenal in late November and has recently stepped up his rehab by returning to the training pitch.

Jimenez scored four goals in the opening 10 games of the season - with leading scorer Pedro Neto only bagging five so far - before being sidelined and Nuno's men have missed his presence in leading the line in recent months.

“He (Jimenez) is training, he has been able to integrate into some of the training sessions and he is improving and doing well,” said Nuno.

“We have to be very careful and follow the protocols but keep positive because he is doing well. We are delighted, but know it’ll take time. He is going in the right direction.

“He will keep improving his fitness, follow the protocols and do consultations with the neurosurgeon. It requires patience but it’s moving in the right direction.”
