Wolves boss outlines expectations from Leeds United clash facing Marcelo Bielsa's 'special way of coaching'

NUNO Espirito Santo admits his opposite Leeds United number Marcelo Bielsa has a "special way of coaching" with the Wolves boss expecting a tough challenge in Monday's showdown at Elland Road.

Wolves are now in their third season back in the country's top flight with the 2018 Championship champions having stormed their way to seventh-placed finishes in their first two campaigns back in the Premier League.

Former Valencia and Porto boss Santo was in his first year in charge when Wolves and Leeds last met in the 2017-18 Championship campaign in which the West Midlands side recorded a double over the Whites with a 4-1 win at Molineux followed by a 3-0 triumph at Elland Road.

Two and a half years later, Wolves are now preparing to face last season's Championship champions in Monday night's clash at Elland Road and Santo is braced for a stern challenge with the Portuguese manager full of praise for United's style of football and their head coach.

“They're a very good team, very aggressive in all their actions – offensively and defensively," Santo told www.wolves.co.uk“It's a good group of players with a fantastic manager.

"Very aggressive and dynamic, physical, so we expect a tough challenge.

"It's what we know from Marcelo Bielsa, a special way of coaching teams to be dynamic.”
