The 21-year-old once again stepped up his recovery on Tuesday afternoon as he came through 90 minutes for the Whites Under-23s side against Burnley in the Professional Development League.

Brown, who bagged a goal in the 6-3 victory over the Clarets at Barnfield Training Centre, is yet to make his Leeds debut following his move to Elland Road in the summer on a season-long loan.

The attacking midfielder made his comeback from a torn ACL in mid-November for Carlos Corberan's development side against Birmingham City playing 45 minutes before completing 80 minutes against Newcastle United in the Premier League Cup two weeks ago.

Brown has now made three appearances under the Spaniard's guidance as he came through a full game unscathed for the first time since picking up his injury in January.

Bielsa though admitted that this weekend's Championship clash with Bolton Wanderers would come too soon for the loanee as he continues to battle his way back to full fitness at Thorp Arch.

"I don’t think he’s ready for the bench," Bielsa told his pre-match press conference.

"Every time he plays he makes positive steps to being inside the group. He has a great weight, he is well, he is fit. He absorbs the volume of a game without any problems. He needs to work on his intensity and strength, but that’s normal because of how little he’s played.

"The sudden movements he can make, when he sprints, when he stops, the switch of direction, the short sprints, these are the elements that are needed for a player with a technique like Izzy Brown.

"You need to have a certain level of performance to impose your technical skills. He’s working on these small details."
