Leeds United are heading into the extended international break still unbeaten and the bookies have cast a fresh Whites verdict in their new predicted final table.
Leeds lined up for Sunday’s visit of Crystal Palace knowing that a win would send them back into third place and just one point behind Arsenal no less after the Gunners fell to a surprise 3-0 defeat at Brighton on Saturday.
Daniel Farke’s Whites were ultimately unable to score against Palace but United held firm at the other end and a goalless draw has left the Whites unbeaten and still riding high in fifth place.
Leeds are level on points with Brentford, Liverpool and Everton, United just one point behind third-placed Brighton and three points behind second-placed Arsenal who are now three points behind leaders Manchester City.
The Whites are one point ahead of Hull City and Newcastle United but the gap that matters most initially is the one back to the dropzone, Leeds six points clear of third-bottom Coventry City and seven points ahead of second-bottom Fulham and rock-bottom Tottenham Hotspur whose troubles continue.
Leeds are now looking at three weeks without a game as the extended September and October international break gets going and the bookies have issued fresh backing to the Whites in their new predicted final table.
Here, based on the very latest title odds, is where they think Leeds will finish versus the likes of Everton, Sunderland, Tottenham and Aston Villa.
