Early West Ham team news
West Ham have injury worries over goalkeepers Lukasz Fabianski and Darren Randolph ahead of kick-off.
Randolph suffered a recurrence of a hip injury while Fabianski is struggling with an arm problem.
Early Leeds United team news
Marcelo Bielsa saw Rodrigo return to action with the club’s development side on Friday at Wolves.
The Spain international scored twice while Ian Poveda and Gaetano Berardi also stepped up their returns from the medical room.
Kalvin Phillips was absent but could be in line to start this evening against the Hammers after battling a calf problem.
The midfielder has travelled to London with Bielsa to make a decision over his involvement against the Hammers.
Robin Koch has recently returned to training from a knee problem while long-term absentee Adam Forshaw remains out.
Pascal Struijk is also battling to be fit after limping off against Aston Villa last weekend.
Predicted Leeds United line-up
Marcelo Bielsa has a number of injury concerns, but we think he may spring a surprise with Kalvin Phillips this evening...
YEP XI: Meslier; Ayling, Llorente, Cooper, Dallas; Phillips; Klich, Roberts, Raphinha, Harrison; Bamford.
What David Moyes has said
“You have to say, for a team coming into the Premier League, Leeds United have done very well stepping up,” said Moyes.
“When we saw Leeds in the Championship, the way they played and their momentum, it was always going to cause teams problems – and it has done.
“It doesn’t matter who they’ve played, they’ve made chances, they’ve got opportunities, so we know how tough it’s going to be.
“We got a good result at Elland Road and I hope we can back it up with a good result at London Stadium.”
What Marcelo Bielsa has said
“They’ve been able to maintain a stable partnership in midfield,” Bielsa said.
“They are two players who are very important. For each of the attacking positions, they have two players.
“Especially with the two wingers and offensive midfielder. The four full-backs they possess are important players. Apart from that, they have resolved the absence of (Arthur) Masuaku.
“Their two goalkeepers have shone and the centre-backs, not only have they been sure at the back, they have also contributed goals in attack.
“They have a very good set-piece taker with his left foot and the manager has been able to obtain some very good minutes of football with that team.”
The big question - will Kalvin Phillips start?
It appears Kalvin Phillips has travelled to London for tonight’s clash with West Ham.
Rodrigo has also provided a boost for Marcelo Bielsa’s squad as the Whites boss begins to welcome back a number of players from the treatment room.
Phillips wasn’t involved with the club’s development side on Friday but could well be recalled to the starting line-up this evening such is his importance.
