Jack Harrison and his Leeds United team-mates have full faith in Marcelo Bielsa's 'aggressive' attacking style.

The Whites secured an emphatic 5-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday night in the Premier League, making it back-to-back wins in an impressive three-day festive spell.

Bielsa's men grinded out a narrow win over Burnley at Elland Road but were in scintillating form at the Hawthorns as they raced into an early lead.

A bizarre own goal from Baggies midfielder Romaine Sawyers opened the scoring before Leeds pushed home their dominance by holding a deserved four-goal advantage at the half-time interval.

Gjanni Alioski, Jack Harrison and a deflected Rodrigo effort left United in cruise control by the time winger Raphinha rounding off the scoring in the second half with a curling finish into the top corner.

Harrison - who bagged his third goal of the campaign against Albion - reflected post-match on a job well done with Leeds at their very best on the front foot.

"We took control of the game and we capitalised on any chances that we had," Harrison said.

"With Marcelo [Bielsa], he wants us to be aggressive and when we do that, we can create problems for the defenders. Once we created that danger, we were able to build off of that and it was a good starting point for us.

"I was pleased with the way that we managed the game tonight. Other games we've scored goals but we have let teams get back into it but tonight we controlled it really well and we dominated the game. I'm really proud of us as a team.

"When you're coming into this game, you know how important it is to keep a clean sheet. You've got to have a lot of talent to keep them out of the game and we just tried to create as many chances as we could."

Asked about his side's mentality in the second half after opening up a large lead at the interval, he said: "It’s about continuing our style of play.

“We don’t have to change for anyone, or for any reason. As long as we play like that we know it works for him. We have all the trust in the manager, when he tells us to do something, we do it.

“It worked for us tonight. I think we’ve built some strong foundations for ourselves going forward.

“We just have to keep taking it game by game and not get complacent. We want to try and get as many points as we can.”
