Kiko - named after the Leeds United goalkeeper Kiko Casilla - has baffled his owner Natalie Chadwick, 36, by singing along to a variety of Leeds United songs - including chanting 'Leeds, Leeds, Leeds'.

Natalie has been attempting to capture footage of Kiko singing the famous chant and was finally successful - before posting the footage on a fan page on Facebook.

Natalie - who lives with husband Luke and children Ollie, 15, Rhys, 13, nine year old Riley and seven year old Phoebe - said her whole family are huge life long Leeds United fans.

Kiko is almost two years old and the family have had her since she was four months old.

Natalie told to the Yorkshire Evening Post how Kiko learnt the chant.

She said: "She has always been a brilliant talker and learnt hello, wolf whistle, my son's names and the dog's name in the first few months of her living with us.

"I'd wanted to teach her marching on together so had played it to her but realised she responded to me and the kids singing it to her more.

"She tends to mumble to herself until she is sure she can say something so one day we had some friends round to watch the Leeds game and my sons sang marching on together at the start of the match and kiko joined in!

"I'd thought I'd heard her singing something like the song before then but no one believed me until she blasted it out.

"Now it's her favourite song and she sings it most days."

Natalie said Kiko loves singing in the shower and the elusive footage was finally captured following a wash.

She said the reaction to the video has been amazing and friends and family can't believe Kiko's tunes.

She added: "Friends and family have been amazed by her and said for sometime she was quite special but it was only when we posted it online a few days ago we realised how amazing it was.

"Some comments were from other parrot owners who have tried for years to get theirs to sing marching on together but had never managed it so Kiko is obviously a very clever bird.

"People seem to find it hilarious and we've been surprised at the reaction as I guess living with her you get used to it.

"She has just about picked up the chant "kiko cassila plays for United with Pablo Hernandez ...1234" but sometimes sings kiko casilla is a good girl with Pablo Hernandez 1234 instead"

"We will definitely teach her more Leeds chants but not sure what our next aim is yet!

"She loves a cuddle on a night and usually snuggles up to my chest and falls asleep."

Natalie said Kiko has recently learnt another knew skill - to copy her cough exactly.

She added: "Her recent thing that we didn't want to teach her that she's chosen to do herself - she can mimic my cough exactly!

"I've had a cough for a few months and she sounds exactly like it.

"She also copies my laugh and laughs along with the conversation whenever we have people round.

"We do have to be careful what we say in front of her as she capable of picking up anything she likes the sound of."
