Pundits Jon Champion and Ally McCoist looked ahead to the renewal of Leeds United’s rivalry with Manchester United as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side took on Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Marcelo Bielsa's side have been brilliant to watch at times during the campaign so far and have enjoyed thrillers against West Brom, Liverpool, Fulham and Newcastle United.

“Next for Manchester United, the restoration of another rivalry with a Yorkshire club,” Champion explained during his Amazon Prime commentary. “The return of one of the old archetypal Premier League fixtures...

"Manchester United-Leeds at Old Trafford.”

And former Rangers boss McCoist was practically drooling at the prospect of the fixture.

"Oh yes, oh yeah,” he said. “What a game! How good have they been to watch so far this season? Brilliant.”

"Just the wildcard of the Premier League,” Champion responded.

McCoist added: “Five-twos, four-threes, you name it!”
