United's recent record in London is now mentioned every single time Leeds venture into the capital and Friday's fixture also presents the club's final trip to the Big Smoke of the 2020-21 campaign.
So just how bad is United's record in London and when did Leeds last win there? The YEP's Lee Sobot takes a look at the record, the memories and the numbers.
1. Fulham 2 Leeds United 0 (April 2018)

2. Millwall 1 Leeds United 1 (September 2018)
Marcelo Bielsa's first game in the capital came with the September 2018 trip to Millwall in which Jack Harrison struck in the 89th minute, above, to seal a 1-1 draw. It felt like a win in the circumstances but wasn't. Picture by James Hardisty.
3. QPR 2 Leeds United 1 (January 2019)
The first of two visits to Loftus Road within eight weeks - in the FA Cup and then the Championship - and both ended in defeat. Bielsa made plenty of changes for the cup clash with Kun Temenuzhkov coming off the bench. Picture by James Hardisty.
4. QPR 1 Leeds United 0 (February 2019)
QPR had lost seven in a row but defeated the Whites thanks to Luke Freeman's strike that prevented Leeds from going into the top two and Bielsa's pain, above, was obvious. A huge blow in the promotion race. Picture by Bruce Rollinson.
5. Brentford 2 Leeds United 0 (April 2019)
There were tears at Griffin Park as a 2-0 defeat at Brentford left third-placed Leeds three points behind second-placed Sheffield United with just two games left. Effectively, autos over. Picture by Bruce Rollinson.
6. Charlton Athletic 1 Leeds United 0 (September 2019)
