7. Leeds United 3-3 West Ham, November 1981
A late thriller from the early '80s, but perhaps one that Leeds fans won't look back on too fondly. The Whites were strolling their way to a 3-1 win at Elland Road before an own goal and a last gasp strike from Trevor Brooking sealed an unlikely comeback for the visitors. Another breathless attacking showdown from later in the 1981/82 season, with Brooking once again tormenting Leeds. The England international struck a brace to dampen the Whites' spirits for a second time in a matter of months. (Photo by Frank Tewkesbury/Evening Standard/Getty Images) Photo: Frank Tewkesbury

9. Leeds 6-3 West Ham, April 1927.
Leeds have never scored more than six against West Ham, and they haven't managed that feat since 1927. Just eight years after they were formed, the Whites gave the Hammers a thorough thrashing on the penultimate day of the Division One season in front of just under 11,000 fans at Elland Road. 10. Leeds United 0-7 West Ham, November 1966
Just months after England's World Cup triumph on home soil, the Irons decimated Leeds in a punishing 7-0 defeat. Not one that older Whites fans will remember too fondly, but certainly a notable result, not least because of the result Leeds recorded against the Hammers just a few months prior... 11. Leeds United 5-0 West Ham, November 1966
In what must be one of the biggest contrasts in results in a single calendar year, Leeds actually preceded their 7-0 defeat to West Ham with a stunning 5-0 victory in February 1966. The Irons still had the likes of Bobby Moore, Martin Peters, and Geoff Hurst in their starting XI, but goals from Jim Storrie, Billy Bremner, Peter Lorimar, and a brace from Norman Hunter earned the Whites a famous win. 12. Leeds United 5-1 West Ham, May 1999.
When Leeds hit their stride around the turn of the millennium, there were very few sides who could keep pace with them on their day. The Whites proved that point again in the latter stages of the 1998/99 season when they steamrollered West Ham. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink scored in the first minute, and from that moment onwards, they were relentless. Alan Smith, Ian Harte, Lee Bowyer, and Alfe-Inge Haaland all got in on the act, with Paolo Di Canio scoring a consolation. (Stu Forster /Allsport) Photo: Stu Forster
