The summer transfer window is up and running and Leeds United are set for a busy period with ins and outs expected. Leeds have seen a number of players linked away from the club this summer with Crysencio Summerville, Archie Gray and Wilfried Gnonto amongst those attracting interest and it seems likely that Leeds could lose one or two star names.
However, the Whites have been linked with a host of players, too, and they are expected to add to Daniel Farke’s squad as they push for promotion at the second time of asking. Here, we take a look at how Leeds could line up this season if the latest transfer rumours are true.
1. GK: Illan Meslier
Meslier was Leeds United's number one last season and if Leeds can keep hold of him that won't change. He has been linked with Marseille but Leeds are yet to receive an approach | Getty Images
2. RB: Alfie Gilchrist
Chelsea are said to be willing to listen to loan offers and according to reports, the Whites are keen to take the defender for the season. Whether he leaves Chelsea or not, Gilchrist will be looking for more game time this season after working his way into the first-team picture at Stamford Bridge. | Getty Images
3. CB: Joe Rodon
It's no secret that Leeds want to bring Rodon back to the club but they face competition from Southampton, Ipswich and others. | Getty Images
4. CB: Pascal Struijk
The defender missed the second half of last season through injury but Farke will be hoping to welcome back to training during pre-season. | Getty Images
5. LB: Ryan Sessegnon
Leeds are said to have made contact with Sessegnon's representatives as he approaches the end of his contract with Tottenham Hotspur. There's other interest, of course, but a move to Leeds could suit Sessegnon as he bids to get his career on track. | AFP via Getty Images
6. CM: Ethan Ampadu
Ampadu will play a pivotal role for Leeds next season and he could be named club captain if Liam Cooper leaves. | Getty Images
