Stoke City have confirmed changes to their Bet365 Stadium ahead of the visit of Leeds United fans on Wednesday night. The Whites head to the Potteries on looking to add to their superb comeback win over Norwich City at Carrow Road last time out.

Daniel Farke’s men are in fine form currently, now in third place, and they will have their eyes set on the top two, hoping to make up ground on Leicester City and Ipswich Town. Stoke will provide an interesting test, particlarly being midweek, with the Potters having won last time out, although they haven’t enjoyed the best of seasons so far, sitting firmly in the bottom half.

Thankfully for Leeds, they will, as is often the case, be backed by a large away support, and Whites fans have been treated to some big performances on the road this season, with only three Championship clubs putting together better away records up to this point.

But regardless of the result, Leeds fans will be treated to an extra bit of entertainment at Stoke on Wednesday, and it comes thanks to the installation of a new lights system at the Bet365 Stadium, although it comes with a warning for some fans. The Potters confirmed in a statement: “Stoke City’s bet365 Stadium will host a lightshow prior to Wednesday night’s fixture against Leeds United. The show will provide around five minutes of high-octane entertainment combining flashing lights and music.

“Supporters are advised to take their seats by 7.40pm, 20 minutes prior to the scheduled kick-off, in order to watch it. Supporters with photosensitive disorders, sensitivities to strobe lighting or adverse reactions to flashing light are advised that they may wish to avoid being within the stadium bowl until the show has concluded. This will be shortly prior to the players emerging for an 8pm start.

“The latest addition to the matchday experience has been made possible by the installation of a new LED lighting system at the bet365 Stadium.” The lights system is similar to the ones Leeds fans will have seen in the Premier League last season, with the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham, Man City and others already able to hold light shows at their respective grounds.”
