1. Harrison tracks back and nudges Walker-Peters to the floor. Chance to whip this into the box from out wide.

2. The free-kick is defended well. Saints recycle the ball and cross from the other side. Adams rises at the back post and powers a header on goal which Kiko Casilla tips over the bar brilliantly. Good reactions.

4. A good start from the hosts who are being roared on by the home crowd with every touch. Leeds clear the corner and Armstrong shoots from distance. It’s deflected and loops into the arms of Casilla.

6. Leeds escape. Llorente loses the ball inside his own half and the Saints break at pace. Phillips sprints back to challenge and it hits a leg and Casilla has to produce another good save. The offside flag was raised, though. Leeds on the back foot here.

8. Leeds have not got going yet, a fact Phillips makes clear to his team-mates, trying to gee them up. Saints with all the early pressure. Phillips wins a challenge on the edge of his own box and tries to release Bamford but he’s isolated.

10. Down by the corner flag. Llorente late on Adams but it doesn’t look like a free-kick on replay, he protests but the referee whistles. Another chance to load the box.

11. The corner is headed clear. It falls to Armstrong who volleys on the full and it flies over the bar and into the stand.

13. Saints get down the right and Leeds retreat. The hosts are into the box and drill a low ball into the box which Cooper clears behind. United then clear the resulting corner. Story of the game so far.

14. There is life. A lovely crossfield ball from a quick free-kick finds Harrison in the evening sunshine. He crosses into the area trying to find Bamford in the six-yard box but it’s hacked away but the defence.
