Leeds ended a run of three Championship fixtures without a victory through the epic 5-4 success at Birmingham City at the end of 2019 and backed up that triumph with a 1-1 draw at current leaders West Brom.

United then excelled in the first-half of their third round FA Cup clash at Arsenal but missed chances cost Leeds dear in 1-0 defeat and the pattern repeated itself in last weekend's 2-0 loss at home to Sheffield Wednesday.

The defeat saw second-placed United's cushion in the automatic promotion spots cut to six points but Cooper says Leeds have been working extra hard in training in search of a new winning run and a first victory in ten games in London.

“Obviously after a defeat you tend to work a little bit harder, to put it right, we’ve had a good week of training and were looking forward to going there and turning the form round in London,” Cooper told Leeds United's official site.

“We know our record isn’t great down there and we’ll be looking to change that come the weekend.“In this league you’re not far away from your next game, we’ve been working so hard this week to put it right.

“It’s all about keeping the lads spirits up, were still in a great position, we’ve worked ever so hard to get to where we are and that’s got to continue.

“The message is just to keep going, working hard and winning games and that’s got to be the message throughout.

“Obviously we want to win every game, we set out to win every game and we believe we can win every game.

“When that doesn’t happen were disappointed, angry, frustrated and that’s the way it is.

“We’ve made a good habit of winning games this season and we’ve got to get back to that.

“We have to put the loss from Saturday to the back of our minds and go give QPR a taste of what we’ve got.

“We know you can’t look any further than the next game, that’s the most important one.

“The lads have been brilliant this week, there’s been a great reaction and we know we need to get back to winning ways."
