Spanish international forward Rodrigo has yet to savour a game in front of United's supporters who have been unable to cheer on their side from the stands since the first weekend of March due to the global battle against coronavirus.

Leeds will now take in their latest game behind closed doors in Monday night's Premier League clash against Leicester at an empty Elland Road and Rodrigo wants United's fans to continue to show their support in any way they can on social media channels.

Asked if he had a message for United's fans ahead of the Foxes clash, Rodrigo told LUTV: "I haven't had the luck to feel the atmosphere of Elland Road already because of the virus situation.

"It's that they keep supporting the team through social media and hope that we can be together in the stadium soon."

Assessing what he was expecting from eighth-placed Leicester, Rodrigo pondered: "It will be a tough game like all the games in the Premier League.

"We can see the results of the games. It is very difficult to predict results here.

"There are a lot of teams who can win against anyone. It will be a very difficult game and we need to be prepared for it."
