The newly-promoted Whites also recorded two consecutive Premier League victories back in September which were followed by a fine display in a 1-1 draw at home to Manchester City.

Rodrigo, though, admits that United's performances have largely been up and down - reflected by the fact that Leeds have scored 30 goals this season but also conceded 30 at the other end.

Leeds, though, are heading for London following two quickfire victories achieved with clean sheets via a 5-0 romp at West Brom and 1-0 triumph at home to Burnley.

"We are trying to do our best this season," said Rodrigo, speaking to LUTV.

"It is true that we have a different performance during the season. Good performance, bad performance... but we want to maintain and keep this level for the next games.

"With two consecutive wins it is important for us to grow in confidence and achieve our goal.

"We want to maintain this level for the next game (against Tottenham) and try to win."
