Revealed! Which Premier League teams really win the most penalties - and how Leeds United measure up

The last thing Leeds United fans will probably want to think about right now are penalties.

The Whites conceded two against Arsenal in Sunday's 4-2 loss at the Emirates, and had one not been overturned by VAR, the margin of that defeat could have been even heavier.

Marcelo Bielsa's men have had some good fortune from 12 yards as well this season, however.

Leeds have scored three goals from penalties in 2020/21 – the 11th-highest tally in the division.

At the other end, the Whites have conceded seven fouls in the area.

That tally is the Premier League’s fourth-highest, and is made worse by the fact that their opponents have scored all seven of those set-pieces.

But how does Leeds' record compare to their Premier League rivals over the past decade?

Paddy Power have run the numbers to which top flight teams have averaged the most penalties per game since 2010/11.
