Their tally of 50 strikes is the eight-highest in the Premier League, and is just one fewer than the likes of Chelsea, who are chasing a Champions League spot.
While chances haven’t exactly been at a premium either, the Whites have endured games where they have had to sit back and soak up pressure before hitting teams on the counter attack. The recent win over Manchester City was a prime example of just how effective that approach can be.
